Trust is earned in the open.

Where the money goes, who governs it, how we handle conflicts of interest, and the documents that prove it. If you're deciding whether to trust us with your giving, this page is for you.

The money

Where your gift goes

We believe you should know exactly what your gift does. We are an all-volunteer foundation in our first year — no salaries, no offices, no paid fundraisers. Beyond payment processing fees, donations fund the mission: children's therapy access and the family support around it.

Real percentages from our first-year financials will be published here alongside our annual IRS filing, every year.

As a young foundation, our first annual report will be published after our first full fiscal year. Until then, we'll answer any financial question a donor asks — just ask.

Governance

Who watches the watchers

Clear policies, rules we wrote down before anyone asked us to, and real names attached to every one of them.

Director

Our board is expanding from three directors to five, adding independent directors with no family or business ties to our founder — the governance standard we hold ourselves to. Every director is named on this page, and new directors will appear here as their appointments are executed.

Conflict of interest

The uncomfortable disclosure, on purpose

Our founder also owns a private business in the hyperbaric industry. We're telling you that here, unprompted, because it's exactly the kind of thing a serious donor should want to know — and exactly the kind of thing a serious charity should say out loud.

Because of that relationship, we hold ourselves to bright-line rules:

  • We never recommend vendors. No page on this site steers families to any specific provider, product, treatment, or company — including any connected to our founder. Families choose their own providers with their own care teams.
  • Independent directors approve related-party decisions.Any transaction touching a related business must be disclosed, documented, and approved by directors with no stake in it — at arm's length, at fair market value, or not at all. Interested directors leave the room and don't vote.
  • Grant-funded advertising never promotes a business. Our Google Ad Grant traffic goes to family resources and our own programs. It is never directed to, or used for the benefit of, any business connected to an insider.
  • The policy is written down. Our conflict-of-interest policy is available on request — ask us and we'll share it, along with where board execution stands.
